The Blue Morpho Community Mission is a year-round initiative serving Puerto Jiménez and the surrounding Osa Peninsula — whether or not guests are participating in a given week.

How we work
Projects are chosen with local schools, churches, leaders and organizations — never assumed. Food, materials and skilled labor are purchased locally whenever practical, so a single project supports a family, local suppliers and local tradespeople at once.
We serve people, not photographs.
Dignity, privacy and permission come before publicity. Guest participation is always optional, and there are ways to contribute without physical work.
